As a third-generation massage therapist, Derek considers it an honor to serve the Nashville community. Massage can be an important way to nurture the body, and many find it essential to overall wellness and health. Derek came to massage therapy out of a desire to help others in a therapeutic approach to pain relief and relaxation. His focus is results-oriented bodywork, mostly utilizing the modalities of Neuromuscular, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Swedish and Prenatal. Each client has different needs, and it is his privilege to help facilitate your self-healing.

Since graduating from Natural Health Institute in January 2011, Melissa has focused on the rejuvenating art of massage for stress management. Pinpointing the areas of tension and stress in the body, she uses a nurturing and relaxing touch to tune into the needs of each individual client. Expanding her skills to include those with cancer, Melissa has found herself drawn deeper into the soothing, self-healing power of massage and bodywork.

Billy’s path to massage therapy has been a long and enlightening journey of self awareness and healing. As an athlete and avid martial artist, Billy understands, firsthand, the need for nurturing therapeutic massage. His approach is a holistic one, with the intention of working on not only on the physical, but on the mental, emotional, and spiritual bodies, as well.

Angela started her massage career in 2009 at the Institute of Physiological Balancing (IPSB) in Los Angeles, CA. While in Los Angeles, she worked at Burke Williams, one of the most popular day spas in California. Angela relocated to Nashville in 2011 and continued her education at The Mind Body Institute. Her treatments include a variety of techniques to ensure an effective and deep relaxation. She always encourages clients to engage in Yoga or gentle exercise, to drink and eat healthy as well as taking time for themselves each day to promote a healthy and nourished body and soul.

Sherrie Phillips is from Northern California and began training at the New Age School of Massage, then completed her training at the world-renowned Heartwood Institute. She became an assistant teacher for Swedish Eslan at Heartwood Institute then later discovered Jin Shin Juytsu as a type of energy balancing that is similar to acupuncture without needles! She has always had a passion and intuition for aiding and holding space for people to heal on all levels - physical and emotional. Sherrie's specialty is the neck and shoulders focusing on giving relief and healing to an often chronic area of tension.

Rachel is a graduate of Natural Health Institute and has lived in Nashville since 2008. She left her corporate position in search of what truly made her happy and discovered massage therapy. With a background in classical music, she has a passion for sound therapy and energy work and is a believer in how it affects the mind/body connection. Rachel is drawn to the more soothing aspect of massage and bodywork and she helps clients to achieve deep relaxation. Her goal is to provide quality therapeutic massages and educate clients on overall health and wellness.

Isaac is a graduate of Mind/Body Institute. Throughout his life he has been involved in various occupations with an underlying principle of service to others. "It satisfies my deepest calling to this world to create an environment where relaxation and healing can take place. We all need a space and time where we can let go of life and embrace ourselves." He has found a beautifully balanced practice using Reiki energy therapies and manual manipulation techniques. An intuitive calling within and a passion that developed for Melisa; for colon hydrotherapy and energy work. Melisa has also studied independently holistic health, meditation, enlightenment, and living gourmet raw foods within various regions; including Sedona, Arizona and in Southern California. She is also a graduate of I.E.I. Health at the Gentle Wellness Center located in Santa Monica, California where she has completed her certification training in the practice of Colon Hydrotherapy. There she studied several closed systems and open system, The Angel of Water.
AMY - COLON HYDROTHERAPY - Certified Colon Hydrotherapist, NHI and I-ACT
Amy became aware of the colon hydrotherapy two years before she tried it. The process of CHT seemed awkward, yet the idea seemed intuitive. In 2006 when she moved to Nashville, she decided it was time to deal with her constipation issues. She knew more was going in than was coming out and she was a size 18 to prove it. She began receiving sessions, and after seven sessions, she started to see just the tip of the iceberg revealing itself. She spent the next three months detoxing, cleansing and learning more about how her body worked. She lost weight, felt incredible, but most of all was able to deal with emotional issues that she didn't realize she had been carrying all along. After three months, she knew she wanted to help others who were also on their own journey to wellness. She went to training, became certified and has enjoyed working with her clients to become more intuitively aware of our bodies' needs.
