Holistic Wellness Center Offers Nashvillians a Public “Reiki Share” Each Week

NASHVILLE, TENN  – June 3, 2011 – Symmetry offers free weekly Reiki Shares (every Wednesday from 6-8pm) at their holistic wellness center located at 212 Louise Avenue in Nashville (37203).  Participants of all experience levels are welcome to attend either once or multiple times.  These events are free and open to the general public. 

Amy Kiger, owner of Symmetry, explains, “Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.  It is administered by ‘laying on hands’ and is based on the idea that a life-force energy flows through us and is what causes us to be alive.  A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you.  Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit – creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and well-being.”

Reiki Shares allow participants to both give and receive Reiki within an atmosphere of friendship and love.  It allows them to experience for themselves the healing, harmonizing and balancing energy of Reiki.  The weekly Reiki Share is a great way for people who are new to Reiki or don't yet know about it, especially if they are looking to clear blockages and reduce stress.  Beginners are encouraged to attend.

Facilitator, Donya, explains, “Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use.  It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady.  It works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.”
